So do I, but I can remember reading something that the writer said ( Stephen Knight ) a few years ago ''I hope to take the Shelby's up to the outbreak of WW2''. In the trailer I saw a swastika !

It will be the last series but there has been mention of a film. I love the programme, have all the DVDs but really did not enjoy the last series.
I will miss Polly.

Will be interesting how they get around no more Aunt Polly.

Perhaps we will see her in the early part of the series as I think she filmed some of it before she died. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Gave up after a few episodes of the first series, too bleak, dull, patronising & pretentious.
Birmingham isn't & never was so.

Thanks Tony, thought so. I came late to Peaky Blinders after my daughter told me to watch it as she thought I'd like it. She was wrong. I didn't like it loved it. Good to see Tom Hardy's going to be in it again. I shall savour every episode.

It was announced back in January of last year (how strange it is to type that) that series 6 would be the last.

I've heard that Thomas Shelby will die in the last episode, which will mean that it can't continue. Any road it's past its S(h)elby date.
