It was fascinating to watch the murderer tell everyone he was a calm and reserved person - then watch as the slightest comment sent him into a foul mouthed meltdown. A really good observation on human psychological behaviour.
A challenging watch.
That came very close to a Lockism.
i watched on a few years ago when police officer had to watch child pornography.
I could not do their job for all the tea in china
// A challenging watch.// - no I failed the challenge
( a few minutes after learning the child was under 6 m)
Very hard to watch, but I knew this monster got a fairly good sentence and I wanted to see that bit ! He also hurt the older kids as well - what a POS he is !

RIP baby Teddie, you were so beautiful.

One of the worst parts on that programme was when the mother was shown a diagram of the babies injuries and she sat there looking and listening with no emotion whatsoever.
I would have put her away for a long time and not just given her community work, and he should have got life.
The others I watch for "confirmation bias"
you believe someone is guilty and then go on believing it and finding stuff to bolster the belief, because you cant cope with being wrong

christopher jeffries - the non murderer in Bristol was 'caught' like that. you dont get any money to put your life back in order when they admit they're wrong. But the people of Clifton have to carry some blame as well

I agree Barsel, I don't believe for one second she didn't know what was going on and then at the end of the programme they showed her in a heartfelt clip talking about the little one - I couldn't understand that at all.
pp I agree about Christopher Jeffries, a very serious miscarriage of justice. I really don't know how the poor man coped.
I have it on my list of to watch/catch up. It was a 2 parter, is that correct?
^ Yes, it was.
I thought they were both mentally retarded, as she knew what he was like violence wise and yet she still let him live with her and the kids.
Those kids have had to listen to all that shouting and swearing as well as the death of a sibling.
Poor little children and poor little Teddie. R.I.P

I’m so sorry I watched d the programme.
He is the most despicable character I have ever seen. Why, oh why, did she only get 2 years of community service ? I would have thought that there was a case for perverting the course of justice ?? Perhaps they didn't have enough evidence. I sincerely hope that her other children have been taken into care. I know it's not the best option but better than trusting her to look after them in the future.
