I think we need a new crime on the books to cover cases like this, ok she's still alive so it's not murder but to all intents and purposes life has been removed. Damn savage should never see the light of day again.

chrissakes - if you stick your fingers in an electric socket and get killed (I know you wont) - to all intents and purposes your life has been removed - but your wee wifey ( widow that is!) can't sue the electricity board (*)
