For Emmie - Ricky Gervais
49 Answers
Emmie, if you change your mind and decide to try a Ricky Gervais series, 'Extras' is on BBC. Lots of famous faces in every episode. I've just finished watching it. There are three series of, I think, six episodes each and a Christmas special to finish off with.

Try 'Undercover' for a good series, btw.

Loads of RG's stuff on Netflix. You bay £5.99/month for the basic package and you can cancel straight away and still have your month where you can cram in as much of him as you wish.
If I remember correctly Em has seen very little of RG and decided she didn't like him and has refused several suggestions to give him another chance. It's her loss because he's the best around at the moment, by far.

windywillow: //I have to disagree with Khandro - I thought the psychiatrist/therapist was hilarious.//
If that character was in a Monty Python sketch called say, 'The yobbo sex-mad therapist loser' I might have found him funny - though that is perhaps an insult to the Python team!
As a director, Gervaise isn't self-critical enough, it all reflects his 'I don't care' motto, - but then, other people's sense of humour is an eternal enigma.
