A very fascinated insight to these gangsters , Ronnie paid for the services of young boys ( or maybe not ) they were held as icons in the east end of London by people like Barbara Windsor, Mike Reid and Diana Dors , they were evil thugs!

>>> Bobbi, which channel is it on please? The third and final part of the three part series aired from 9pm to 10pm on ITV tonight. Unfortunately, as the programme was originally a BritBox special, it's not available on ITV Hub, as only BritBox currently holds the streaming rights. However it is due for a repeat on ITV next Monday, at 10.45pm.

Canary at 22.13 - Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Remember how we all thought Jimmy Savile was wonderful?

Weird, but still wonderful, but hindsight tells us otherwise.
Indeed a fascinating tale of two very 'hard' men in London's underworld during the post war times. Ronnie never married and was overtly a gay man who liked the sexual company of boys and young men, I doubt he ever paid for sex but may well have been generous to those he preferred. Reggie on the face of it was bi-sexual although his disastrous marriage was short lived. Both twins enjoyed lots of gay orgies usually in Ronnie's flat. Both long dead.

I thought Ronnie was married twice.
probably to himself, sqad!

Mamy, thank you, I thought that he did.
Not until he was in his 50s, though, and while he serving his life sentence in Broadmoor.
There have been numerous films about this evil pair over the years. If your summary of the docudrama is anything to go by, Bobs, it doesn't really offer any new material. IMHO, of course:-)

Nonetheless something I’ve never seen or read Ken so for that reason it was interesting to me and switched on by chance , I knew they were East End gangsters of course but listening to people who served time with them was a fascinating inside to their dark world
Are all 3 episodes being aired?
Question Author
I missed the first one last Tuesday , I won’t bother getting that on catch up but I’ll watch next Tuesdays, the final part of the trilogy

Baz that made Babs famous haha
I enjoyed The Krays with the Kemp brothers (it was called 'The Krays') and 'Legend' with Tom Hardy playing both brothers was fascinating.
That is more than enough of the Krays for me.
I was fascinated by the Krays from a young age so i devoured all i could about them, whether it be on film or in print. Which is why i question whether anything 'new' can be unearthed now.
I wasn't aware of the story, Barry, and whether it is true or not i suppose we'll never really know - we only have this guy's word. Which is also true of any 'new' stories from 'acquaintances' of the Krays.

They let older brother Charlie out of Parkhurst on compassionate grounds as he was dying of cancer but before dying he did a deal with the BBC for an interview , even near death playing his trump card

and some wag ( AB probably) quipped that there were so many men claiming to have been there and helped Fewtrell at the Battle of Snow Hill that people started falling onto the tracks and under passing trains !
