I looked at your profile and it said you were active at 6 am this morning yet your last reply was 8.30am - so don't whether you are on or not.

I noticed that you feel nervous in the shower and I would recommend this kind of bath mat that would make you feel a little more secure. I know Ladybirder loved hers.

JJ, sorry for not replying sooner, i have only just seen your post. I don't expect you to reply as it's very early...
thank you for your suggestion, i do have anti slip mats, which work ok.
its just that i fear tipping over in the shower, and am considering whether a shower seat might be the best way forward.
cheers and stay safe....
thanks tigger, Minty sent me a link too, same one i believe..
will check it out later today.

I;m just up and glad you seen my post - the bristles of the mat definitely give you a great sense of security but I also like the security my grab handles give me when I am in the bath. My shower is inside the bath. Hope you get fixed up soon.

I wouldn't be bothered myself cos you would wait too long but you can get aids free from NHS. My friend's friend (greedy) already had a shower inside a bath but because bathroom was big - she got another shower in? with say a curtain around it. But you could be entitled to other aids cos you are on certain benefits.
can only ask JJ.. thanks for your help, it's much appreciated
JJ, a bath with a shower over can be very difficult for the less mobile to use, or those with hip problems.

Barry I am very aware of that - that's what I am doing at the mo and hopefully for a while yet.
