What stuff? What channel is it on?
It's not for me, as I prefer to experiment with things, rather than following fixed recipes. (I've got a garlicky, cheesy concoction in the oven right now. I got the basic idea from a YouTube recipe but I've adapted it to my own liking. I've no real idea how it will turn out but that just adds to the fun of cooking to me. Strictly following a recipe would be like working on a production line to me and no fun at all!)

The reviews are generally positive though:

It is boxed ingredients ordered online and delivered to your door for you to make a "quality" meal Barry. I seem to remember that Tilly and Lady Jane(I think) had a thread running about it not so long ago and were very pleased with the product. It was the curry boxes I think. Probably in food and drink somewhere.
I haven't bought from them.

think my friend who loathes cooking buys "Hello Fresh".
Funnily enough Jen I had an invite from Hello Fresh in the post this morning with a 60% off first purchase offer and another offer of 60% off for "a friend". "She who must be obeyed" laughed like a drain at the fact that I had the invite but not her. I do the cooking mainly, but gawd knows where they got my name and address. I think it may be through restaurant booking reservations because we always do that in my name. "She" also said that the woman at the hairdressing salon uses Hello Fresh and says they are top notch.

it's a new thing, everything to your door at 1000 times the price, even dog food.
I wouldn't pay to eat dog food.
Sore you've got the name right.
Sure?

yes just seen the ad, mamy, I'm not saying it's dog food I'm saying that there is a dog food equivalent.
Togo, Lady CG and I got our curry boxes from 'Aktar at Home.' It's a Michelin starred Indian restaurant in Birmingham. The food comes ready made and you just heat it up/cook it in the oven.
Strange as they're not at all new.

Must have expanded their range.

Ahh Thanks Tills. I knew I had seen the concept discussed on here and knew you had "sampled" the prepared meals. I am thinking of setting up a hot filled oatcake delivery service.
i have had both simply cook and hello fresh. Both are nice.
Togo, I have oatcakes delivered. I have six dozen at a time, so won't need to use your filled oatcake service. Good luck with it...
My daugher and SIL have tried quite a few. They say the quality is good and there is never any waste.
//I have six dozen at a time//

Do you find that you are "running out" at the end of the week?
Yes Togo! :-)
Haha Tills. Double Entendre intended. (*_^)
