Anyone watching (or watched last night) the channel 4 adaptation of the novel David copperfield

Watching it in the background at the moment.. it isn't bad

I watched it as I didn't bother with it when it was on in the cinemas.

Rather than a Channel 4 adaptation it was a multi-million £$ UK/USA film 2019 - The Personal History of David Copperfield.

I wasn't overly impressed. Lots of overacting and not much development of character which is sometimes the way, when a film is a bit star studded.
