Always a grand performance.

But top spot has to be The United Kingdom.
I expect the over-stuffed haggis Ian Blackford et al really enjoyed that ;)
I saw the Swiss drums at Edinburgh a few years ago, they were amazing and they're there again this year apparently.

Very obvious from Mr Cruise! We laughed.

Th Queen looked beautiful. I felt quite tearful.

Omid was great!

Have just finished watching the amazing performance, such a tribute to the Queen. Agree the Swiss drummers were wonderful. Management of horses, people must have been daunting. Terrific
Omid called The Queen - Your Royal Highness!
She is Your Majesty.
I enjoyed it, especially the steel band playing Dancing Queen. The Queen loved dancing in her younger years.

Going to bed soon feeling proud to be British.
I didn't see it all. What exactly did Tom Cruise do ? I thought the Queen looked really well considering her great age and the fact that she has missed so many things recently. I loved Helen Mirren's speech at the end. MissTerious, I got tearful too.
He did the introduction to the great Britain section showing Scottish Dancing, Irish Dancing and Welsh singing with Welsh choirs and Katherine Jenkins. And he made it pretty obvious that all countries should be proud of being part of a great nation. Hence the earlier comments above. He looked great and spoke well.
Thank you MissTerious, what a pity I missed it. I thought Katherine Jenkins looked absolutely beautiful by the way.
I did too. But husband said he found her more attractive when she wasn't so gaunt in the face. I loved the dress the singer from The Greatest showman wore and the Queen's outfit was beautiful and suited her well. She was glowing last night and her make up and hair was so good.
Why was Tom cruise there ?
I don't know Annea but I hope he is at the St Paul's service - I may be tempted to leave Mr Red for him!!
I recorded it and just watched it back, a posher version of Edinburgh Military Tattoo with more talking. Glad I did record it as I fast forwarded the chat!
Too short red . -:)
lol the current Mr Red is 6ft4in - I wouldn't mind a change lol
I've just watched it on catchup, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. From the chat Tom Cruise had with Phillip Schofield at the beginning, he was there to promote his latest film.
"Too short red . -:)"
not so short when he stands on his wallet
I cringed when Omid addressed the Queen as 'Your Royal Highness' instead of Her Majesty. Reminded me when Matt Baker also made the same blunder during the River Thames Pageant. Baker's useless so I get that but Omid is sharp and well informed - disappointing.
//a posher version of Edinburgh Military Tattoo//

with the defunct, thanks to Blair, Royal Tournament thrown in, an amazing night, fabulous horses and good to see so many women in leading roles.
I am glad I am not alone in that, Paul. No excuse for it as Omid was born in Chelsea. Perhaps his herald's tights were too much so.

Poor Dame Helen fluffing her lines too :(

People can moan about Tom Cruise and Alan Titchmarsh but they both delivered their pieces in a professional manner.
