In Sunday's match you could bet on both teams and whichever won walk away with a profit. If the game finished as a draw you'd lose. Could you strike a bet that it wouldn't end as a draw?

Yes, you can have 'draw no bet' but the odds would reflect that and one team would be odds-on.

Yes, you can have 'draw no bet' but the odds would reflect that and one team would be odds-on.
There is also a 'double chance' bet (home/draw: away/draw: home:away) but again the odds would reflect that and the last would be odds-on.
Sandy, your scenario applies only to 90 minutes and does not take in extra time or penalties - England 29/20, Germany 19/10. To lift the trophy, the prices are 7/10 and 21/20.
Novalis, i do 'double chance' bets almost every week - but not as singles; they are always part of my weekend acca.
I always believe that when a game is evenly matched, it is better to bet on certain eventualities taking place within the 90 minutes. That way, your bet is often 'live' almost until the final whistle:-)

I'll be supporting The Lionesses but won't be having a bet.
As an aside, I remember when N Ireland bookmakers banned all betting on local games. They must have thought they were being fixed.
well normally you'd just back both sides to win.

I doubt that both sides can win, so your odds could be astronomical.
