I can't remember exactly what she said about the Judge, but she's skating on ice. She can't help but show how idiotic and/or deluded she is.

I'd not followed the case when it was on (or during the interminable preamble) as I thought it was a case of two women with too much money and too little to do, having a spat on Twitter or whatever. However, I was interested in the outcome.

I'm about three quarters of the way through the Hon. Mrs. Justice Steyn's full judgement on the case (it's not light reading - the introduction and outline takes nearly five of the 76 pages) and has to be tackled "a little and not too often."

Quite honestly, "a fool and her money" does not adequately describe Mrs Vardy. From the evidence it is as clear as day that what Mrs Rooney alleged about her (that she had leaked information from her private Instagram Account and sold it to the newspapers) was substantially true in just about every respect. Why Mrs Vardy didn't simply put her hands up and say it was a fair cop is a mystery. She was the only one privy to the bogus stories that Mrs Rooney had posted and the leak could have originated from nobody else.

Mrs Rooney, who made numerous attempts to have the action stopped before it reached court, should have her full (not inconsiderable) costs met. It is said Mr & Mrs Vardy may have to sell their villa to meet them. Oh dear! How sad! Never mind! She should also retreat gracefully from this fiasco and not try to portray herself an a victim of injustice.
