I recommended this series some time back and, at the same time, i mentioned it to a friend of mine. We've just had the first of our twice-weekly chats, and guess what? He's just recommended a 'really good series' for me to watch. Yep, 7 Seconds. If he sees an advert for a series that grabs his attention, he jots it down for future viewing. He'd forgotten i had recommended it to him.
Just in case any out there may be interested;

The Staircase is also excellent.
Thanks Ken.

The Staircase was very good. I hadn’t realised Colin Firth was such a good actor.
Us neither, Naomi. It took us a good half hour to realise it was him!

Much of what i recommend on here are what i call my 'nine o'clockers'. No distractions, see. Curtains drawn, doors locked and no-one bothering me with phone calls - well, most of the time.
I watch the first episode, make a bit of supper, then get through 2 or 3 more.
That's just around the time we start watching too but we only make 2 at best.
Same as us. Always about 9. We never watch more than two episodes at most though. And it took us a while to realise it was Colin Firth too.

I think some of the series we’ve watched recently have been so good we’re kind of scratching around now to find anything equally as entertaining.

If they're 45 mins, i can easily do 3 in an evening, ZM. If they're longer, 2's my limit, too.
Have you watched Ozark?
Did you see Tin Star with Tim Roth? We really enjoyed that.
Yes, really good series (apart from when they go back to Liverpool which is when we stopped watching).
We got a bit fed up with Ozark after a while so we didn’t watch to the end.
I know what you mean …. it did go off the boil a a bit in Liverpool … but the end was worth watching.
Us too to be honest but I think we got into Season 6 or 7 before it got a bit samey (which they tend to do).
Actually, we might have watched all of Tin Star. Does it end with a big shoot up in a warehouse?
Same here with Ozark. We watched quite a lot of it.

Did you watch Stranger Things? I know Ken did. I missed that so much when it ended.
No. Shall I tell you?
wots it about?
HA! I nearly suggested ST but with it being so 'whacko' I didn't want it to reflect badly (LOL). We're on Season 3 so ploughing thru it.
Wots wot about?
'No. Shall I tell you?'

Yeah, go on
