I’m really shocked and saddened by this news. Darrius had a huge talent and a successful career in musical theatre. I saw him in Chicago and again alongside Sheridan Smith in Funny Girl. He was just brilliant.

Sad news, 41 is no age. It annoys me when someone says never heard of him, don't care etc. Probably better not to say anything, particularly when you don't know anything about the person. Darius was far more than a Britney Spears cover on a TV show.

He was a Scottish favourite of ours around 2002 when he often appeared on TV. Such a sad time for his parents and all who knew him.

I didn't follow Darrius's career, but reading about him from people who knew him, it seems that not only was he very talented, he was a very nice man, a gentleman.

Well said Barsel. I think the same as you. I remember him well, before he moved in to greater things. That video Naomi posted caused a lump in my throat. I am aware people die every day by the way!

Shocked to hear this. I really liked him and loved his song Colour Blind. A good looking man with a great voice. So sad.
