Cheers, Fatticus :) Ready for it!
Thanks for the reminder, Fatticus, had forgotten about that.
No thanks. I used to find that programme amusing, but now they are too smug and self congratulatory.
What I find disappointing is that they wheel in a guest presenter. However that person reads the 'jokes' off the autocue as if they've never seen them before (they probably haven't).

Bring back Angus Deayton.
It was most enjoyable, an inverted cone of comedy ...
What a load of rubbish! No need for all the foul language.
Angus read off autocue, too.
I've recorded it, watching S&G. Feeling groovy
I found it funny
stopped watching this claptrap years ago - so blatantly biased
Ditto.
me too i am afraid. ^
I wait for the 'bit more' extended version later.

Gives me more to chortle about as I ponder those humourless Tories and their sorry lot in life.
You know who you are. x
Douglas, surely that depends upon what you regard as 'humour'. Doubtless those 'humourless' Tories know who you are too.
i am not humourless but it's a tired old format and should have been scrapped by now.
Well illustrated, naomi, thanks. x
As I said elsewhere - "Sarcasm is said to be the lowest form of wit" & really it's all that Hislop & Murton have in their repertoire.
That's that don't like it needn't watch it; leave it for those of us that do
You're very welcome, douglas.
I don't watch it but you get folks on here urging us to watch simple because they know it will be knocking those they hate. It's not a good look.
No, dave, it isn't.
