Here we go, yet again, folks!

I scored a decent enough (in my opinion) FIVE out of seven on the main quiz:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-62804978

Some lucky guesses helped me to FOUR out of five in the junior quiz this week:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780
(The one I got wrong was question 4. I found it to be an amazing bit of news!)

Just as I thought that I was on a roll, and getting some decent scores for once, I attempted this week's sprint event. That brought me back down with a bump, as I only managed a lowly score of just FOUR out of ten:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-62763889

So that's an aggregate score of THIRTEEN for me, which I suspect that many of you will beat easily enough ;-)

Go on, have a go!

First up for a change, Chris, and I'm ashamed to even tell you my scores. Not even BFH!

Good evening, 10CS.

Oh go on, do tell, please!
;-)

You're early this evening, Lie-in King! Well done on beating me, as always! (I'd read the 'duet' story on the BBC News website but it didn't help, as I still couldn't remember the answer!).

Well at least you managed to avoid any zero scores, Kwillmott ;-
[That's about the best that I can say. Sorry!]
5,3 and a pathatic 3. I hadn't seen any of the stoties so the three were guesses.
Average-ish. 4/7 4/5 5/10 2 lucky guesses involved.
Can't even spell pathetic tonight! Then the internet went down.

It sounds like you're having 'one of those evenings', Roo ;-)

At least your first two scores were decent enough and that ruddy timed quiz is never easy!

Not too bad, Jourdain2! Guesses all count, you know ;-)
Dear o lord I'm getting worse, 3/7, 2/5 and 3/10.
You have a much better aggregate score than I do, Chris.
5, 1 and 6. A much better adult than child!
Just back tonight from a weeks holiday in Whitby so thought I would score quite badly, but am thrilled to get my first ever 7/7 for the main quiz!! : ) yay!!
Back down to earth though with a 3/5 and a 3/10 for the rest : (
Wishing you and kitties a very enjoyable weekend, Chris : )
5/7 v 3/7 Oh dear
4/5 v 2/5 "
4/10 v3/10 "
Another CATastrophe this week: Tesco still out of Dreamies. However, the chicken and cheese Supremies seem to have filled the gap, thanks
for the suggestion.
Apart from getting soaked to the skin doing the Arc GIS survey123 on the river Nevern measuring phosphate and nitrate levels not a lot
going on.
Hope Chequers, Moonbeam and Tablo are keeping you entertained and
your weekend is not tooo dry :-)

Three and two.

>>> You have a much better aggregate score than I do, Chris

Yes, Tony, but you might have a much better beer than me - and that's FAR more important ;-)

BRILLIANT, Karamia! Well done with that fantastic 7!

I'm sure that the kitties and I will have a lovely weekend (even though the radio rally I was going to on Sunday has been postponed) and we hope that you do too.
Four on the timed. Head stopped working properly a couple of days ago, and hasn't started again.

Oops!

I somehow managed to miss Milo2's post there! Sorry about that! It seems that you need to spend more time playing with your Lego, Milo2 ;-)

'Passable' scores, anyway, I think, Haras2 ;-)

I'd, pleased to read that Shady regards Garfield Supremies to be an acceptable substitute for Dreamies. (I think that it's always good when one can find something fairly cheap that cats like!).

I've just read, on the ArcGIS site, that "ArcGIS Survey123 is a simple and intuitive form-centric data gathering solution". I take it that really means "it's a way of collecting numbers" ;-)

The troublesome trio are certainly 'keeping me entertained' (i.e. 'driving me up the wall'), as always. I hope that you and Shady have a lovely weekend.

My head stopped working properly many years ago, Cashier ;-)

Your scores are all 'low-middling' this week but at least you avoided any disasters ;-)
5/7
1/5
1/10 My mind is not on it.

Well, at least you managed one decent score, anyway, Sharon!
