Someone Called Me A Loser For Voting For Biden. What Would Have Been A Good Comeback?

I was talking to my mom and she somehow found out I was registered as republican. She said you better change that if you don't want to vote republican. I said that I voted for biden in 2020. She said not to tell anyone that, because democrats are losers. I asked online and a few other people said that she's right, and I'm a loser. Is it best to just ignore these people, or should I put them in their place?

Politics is a divisive subject, and an enshrined personal choice.

Never discuss your choices with strangers, if people agree with you, you are cool, if they disagree, you are an idiot, that's the same for just about any opinion on anything.

The trick is, be secure in your views and why you hold them, and don't discuss them with anyone you don;t know in advance will respect your view, even if it is different from theirs, and that applies to family, friends, everyone.

Well just ignore it. You know, people just talk & talk a lot (with all due respect to people including your mom) but consider this point that what's happened, happened. Biden is now on it and you can't do a damn thing about it. You are not a loser I mean between worse and the worst you just chose worse. Be happy that you didn't vote for Trump.
