Classical Music
I enjoy listening to some classical music now and again but have great difficulty remembering the name of the composer and the title of the music. There is nothing that hooks into my memory in the same way that pop and rock music does, probably because I don't hear the same track played over and over on the radio and there is no voice or lyrics to recognise.
As an example, I couldn't sleep last night and wanted to listen to a light, relaxing piece of music that I know has 'flowers' in the title, although that might be in German or French.
My knowledge of this genre of music is severely lacking.
Does anyone else have that problem? Any tips?

OK, so I am quite into my classical (my mum is a classically trained pianist and so classical music was part of my childhood) and so I know quite a few pieces (play myself). I dont think you can go wrong with sticking that on the radio.
// It is indeed The Flower Duet that I was trying to find. For some reason I thought it was called Mille Fleurs.
I do listen to classical music on the radio but the information does not stick//
Might be a good idea to put the Shazam app on your phone.
It’ll tell you instantly which piece is being played and will keep a record of it for you to refer back to when memory fails.
