He didn’t refuse a medal from Trump as far as I am aware.
He declined an invitation to play at his inauguration which is even more understandable.
An inauguration at which I’d remind everyone George W Bush described Trump’s speech as “some weird ****”

Well he ( trump) didn’t have a great reputation before the inauguration.. It’s amazing the amount of famous/talented people who declined the invitation .

How half of voting Americans are going to react to Trump potentially going to prison (fraud, theft, perverting the cause of justice, breach of rules regarding official documents etc) one hates to think. He will be indicted for fraud (over-valuing his assets to procure loans). Then the whoops will hit the fan. Interesting that he's already raised, and spent, $1m of donors' dosh on defending himself from the fraud allegations. One can only wonder why he needed donors. But, of course, he doesn't like to spend his own money. The family's in the frame too. Can't wait.
