Does anyone remember a BBC ski documentary from the late 80's early 90's which featured the 'Downhill only' club and beginner skiers in Verbier ? If anyone has a copy of this programme or knows where to get it, could you email me: markpitch AT gmail.com

Thanks

I do remember it as being hilarious with some appallingly slow-to-learn beginners. Was one called Colin or George or something. Oh, by the way, I can't help.
Think it was called 'on the piste' and it was part of the '40 minutes ' documentary series..

it was called on the piste, very funny

I remember it well, it's the funniest documentary ever shown......I think it was around 1987. I have a copy on video but was hoping to find a DVD. The "Downhill Only" club were featured skiiing in Wengen and the "package tour mob" went to Soll in Austria. The funniest characters were Kevin the geek who couldn't stand up and Brenda and Maureen who were the middle aged beginners. If you know where I can get it transferred from video to DVD you are welcome to a copy.

Hope this helps.
