Is It Possible
19 Answers
To read a book online without having a Kindle or apps etc?
A neighbour has asked me to find out what this book is about ( Catherine Cookson A Sisters Obsession) but I've only been able to find out very little.
I don't have a smart phone etc just a PC.
I've not been able to find out if it's been made into a film for television either.
I would be grateful for any help please.

It looks as though the title might have changed from The Obsession, published originally in 1995. It is not listed here but synopses of the two books are the same.

Selling it here, https:/ /www.ow lbarn.c o.uk/a- sister- s-obses sion/ but I still can't find out when it was written/published and although it mentions Beatrice and Rosie, I think my neighbour was hoping to find out the names of more of the characters. (No I don't know why) but she is 92 yrs old and doesn't have the internet so I said I would find out what I can.
From what I can make out, she watches Catherine Cookson films on the TV and she wanted to know if had been made into a film.

Don't you just love old people?
Just phoned my neighbour to tell her what I've been able to find out and then she tells me Catherine Cookson wrote it a long time ago but someone called Rosie Goodwin has rewritten it and it came out in the Spring of 2022.
I've told her she might as well buy it as I expect it will be too new to be in the library.
Wish she had told me all this at the beginning.
Thanks again to all for your help.

nero2024 I did click on your answer but it didn't tell me that, from what I can make out, Catherine Cookson wrote the book called The Obsession and then Rosie Goodwin wrote the same story and called it A Sisters Obsession which Toorak pointed out to me, but to be honest, I didn't think that would be something that someone could do.
Barry, I'm giving up on this as I'm finding it too confusing. I can only find A Sisters Obsession by Catherine Cookson.
My neighbour who wanted to know about this book is 92 yrs old and she gets confused. I thought she asked me to find out about a book called A Sisters Suspicion by Daisy Goodwin, and this is what I asked for when I phoned the library, so I think she's confused and I'm confused, so I'm leaving it now and I've told her to ask her daughter to buy the book for her.
