...well a bit of bliss on a sad day after the disaster in Donegal which has broken our hearts.
Nearly didn't go but so glad now we did.

Mock the Mic. A yearly event in many places around Ireland and always in our village. Bit like a posh karaoke on stage.
Seating for 400 in our venue. Tickets sold 500. Well it is Ireland. :-)

The most fantastic evening. So much talent in our small village. The best though was the opening. A group of Ukrainians living with us performed their winning Eurovision song brilliantly and thanked us for looking after them.
Lots of teary faces and standing ovations in the audience.

It was, Thisoldbird...so much fun and humour but then listening to the Ukrainians, what they are going through with family left behind, and then the suffering of the folk in Donegal made the emotions so mixed.

Needed a third glass of red on coming home. :-)
