First of a 3 parter about Maxine Carr - the gf of Ian Huntley - the Soham murderer who murdered the two 10 yr olds in 2002. Their photo was seen nationwide of the two together in their red Man Utd shirts.

Well I must admit it was interesting how far people would go protect Boris.

Husband watched it, but I can’t watch things like that.
From the bits I couldn’t help hearing and seeing, Maxine seemed to be very dim, and eager to keep her man, however awful he may be.

Another point: Huntley’s job had nothing to do with his access to the girls. Their knowledge of him was through Carr’s job as their teaching assistant. He was a caretaker at a different school. The man who gave him the job has no reason to feel bad.
