Bobbs - I'm surrounded by these young girls and you know are naturally beautiful. I can tell by a mile - they just look like fish trouts.

One young girl I know 27 - is absolutely stunning and I have just found out that her upper lip is meeting her nose. Unbelievable!

I don’t get it either - they had a girl online earlier and she was originally stunning, then for some bizarre reason she decided to get these lip fillers done. Apparently you get 1ml of filler injected at a time, usually just 1 ml per session, and they recommend no more than 5ml max - well she was at 11ml and looked utterly ridiculous, yet she vowed to keep going and she liked the look! Her lips were so swollen she could barely speak.

The most disturbing and probably first woman I saw with this was Lynn Perrie who played Ivy Tilsley in Corrie.
She was certainly old enough to know better and it got her the sack.
Maybe Leslie Ash had her lips done before that, such a tragedy for her.

I don't understand how non-medical people are allowed to do these procedures. My wife's hairdresser says it is no different from getting your hair dyed.

I agree .It is making pretty girls really ugly .Yes Chas in Emmerdale looks awful .And rats tails hair too .That’s another thing she has done .

Girl in a local shop was telling us about the item and we could not understand her because her lips were an impediment to her speech. We did not buy there and will not be back. Gave us the creeps!

It's the same with any alterations people make to themselves, to a little blusher and lipstick at one end of the scale, to radical physical alterations at the other - it cones down to how happy you are with what you see in the mirror, how much you want to change it, and what you are prepared to do to make the alterations you feel you need.

We may think friend A or celebrity B looks gorgeous as they are, but it's not our view of them that counts, its their view of themselves.

That's the only one that really matters.

Problem is when we are older and look at old photos of ourselves, invariably we cringe - did I really wear that/have that hairstyle/love those glasses? What was I thinking?

Cosmetic surgery is difficult to reverse - and even impossible in tragic cases like Leslie Ash where a relatively minor treatment went horribly wrong.
