I think that nowadays the scriptwriters for Corrie try to do too many storylines at the same time. There were at least five?in Weds. The trouble is they start a storyline and it goes on for so long that it gets boring.

15 script writers currently on the job of Coronation Street so plenty of people to throw rotten tomatoes at. :o)

We stopped watching all the soaps a few years ago, Eastenders stresses you out with all that shouting, Emmerdale is just totally unrealistic to rural life, and Coronation Street has become a parody of what used to be a very entertaining soap.

The writers will continue to churn out the same old dross as long as the people continue to watch. But i've said that before, haven't i? :-))
