I agree bobbi.... the Summer thing was getting silly and the overacting, well it was rediculous.. But it was good seeing Stephanie Beecham looking so good at 75. But at least we did'nt have the asylum seeker stuff tonight. I cant think a any plots in there at the moment that are of intrest to me.... apart from wanting Audray to find out Stephen as 'sold' her house

Embarrassingly cringeworthy!! I realise I watch it out of habit , but most of the time my mind is elsewhere or doing something else at the same time.

I've watched Corrie from day 1 and I never thought I could ever give up watching it just in case I missed a good storyline, but I realised one day that every time I watched it, I would just be thinking what a load of rubbish, so I stopped, cold turkey and I don't miss it at all.

What was that ridiculous play all about, Mary was rubbish! If it was supposed to be funny, it failed miserably. I want to give Summer a good shake, what a horrid character she has become.

Brian's girlfriend, Cathy, left Corrie in June. She split up with Brian because she didn't want to move to Cornwall, she found he had been in contact with an ex and she kissed another man in the Rovers.
Brian didn't cope very well with the split but Roy helped

Brian and Mary are made for each other! Can't stand either of them in any scenario.

I think the all-time low was the revolting character Reg Holdsworth, he made my skin crawl.

I don't want to start another thread about Corrie so I hope Bobbs doesn't mind me asking on her thread, but who is your favourite Corrie character and why?

To be honest I think I am going to go cold turkey like Barsel did. Corrie has been the only soap I watched regularly, but never bothered to catch up with when missed. It's a bad habit!
