Finished watching the last episode of series 5 and wow, what a series! I hope there is another season.

Anyone else watched it and what did you think?

Yes loved it, the ending was perfect. Good to have more of Nick again this season too. And slightly less torture!
Was worried about Janine at one point though. I also enjoyed seeing Aunt Lydia realising a few things!

It was also good to see Serena get a taste of her own medicine, but kind of felt sorry for her. I'm worried about Janine and the other woman in the van. Doesn't look good :o(

I'm glad it's over. I don't watch it but Mr T does and it sounds to me, when not viewing, like lots of wailing babies, women screaming and shouting at each other, women screaming full stop and occasional lovely, soundtrack music.

I thoroughly enjoyed this last series. I watched the first then found the next one not very good. I binge watched this last one on catch-up and absolutely loved it.
Tilly, I think you’d enjoy it if you can get past your feelings about the screaming etc.

It was superb and heartening to know that Hannah remembered who she was.

There will be a sixth and final series.

I think Aunt Lydia will be instrumental in bringing Gilead down.

I was put off by the preview of the very first episode. I did not want to watch a rape scene.

You strike me as an intelligent well read woman, Tilly, so get past that (it’s only a small part of the whole) and give it a go, I would think you’ll enjoy the premise of the series which is dark at times but very, very interesting and thought provoking.

After S6 will be the sequel Testaments in which Lydia is a key character.

I hope so, LCG and Chelle. She brought down Commander Putnam. Nick will be pivotal in Gileads fall too I reckon.
