I am aware choux was active fairly recently, but she did say her OH was in hospital last night , and not seen her since.
I’m so sorry if I have disturbed a quiet ( ab free) evening for you .

I guess she will be kept busy going to and from hospital until OH is home. Hopefully she will get some rest and have some support while OH is hospitalised and it's nothing too serious
Slow progress, anne. The driving conditions are atrocious and no fun coming back home, quite late and in the dark. Heavy rain, strong winds and so much standing water on roads that have been awash all week. I have driven through floods twice on the way home.
Hospital staff are very attentive and still carrying out tests and monitoring. I am so grateful to all.
OH saw another doctor today who asked if they had to induce a coma would resuscitation be requested, to which the reply was negative. I accept that decision. Meanwhile, life goes on and we all do our best.

I am sorry to hear that your oh is so unwell.
Please look after your own health, I would much rather be ill myself than be the one watching a loved one suffer.
AB is a good place to keep your mind busy and there are always people who care about about the other ABers. I am completely clueless about such things.

wolf, you made me laugh then. I am one better than you, have Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award in know-it-all ;) My health is not much to write home about but at least I can still come home at the end of the day, I will settle for that.
anne, carry on, I will accept all prayers and good wishes, thank you.
As if life is not hard enough right now, I arrived at the bedside today and the patient opposite came over and sat on the foot of OH's bed. The conversation started with "Good news about the Queen then, looks like she will pull through :)"
I gently explained what had happened in September, the big funeral and that Charles had delivered his first King's Speech on Christmas Day, very much in the tradition of the late Queen. We all have our problems, bless.

Just to say that OH was discharged yesterday and was back home at 6 p.m. I had reservations about fitness but after long discussions on the phone and in person with the staff we went for it. A whole new regime of meds and I shall be doing my obs and recording them. Had a peaceful night and oh so pleased to be home. Fingers crossed :)
We were just half a mile from home when a persian cat jumped over a wall and slowly strolled in front of the car. No street lighting but I am an alert driver so an emergency stop was the order of the day. Someone is very lucky to still have their cat today! I have had many a persian cat and know how they like to go slowly.
