We watched this new film over two consecutive nights this week. We couldn't watch it all in one sitting as it was unbearable viewing at times.

If you get a chance to watch it, do. It's an absolutely stunning film in more ways than one.

It has been nominated for 14 BAFTA awards, deservedly so.

All quiet on AB as well.
Very quiet, Tilly.
Hi Tilly . Is it Netflix. I broke the silence!
Damn, Gness beat me too it!
I’m here too :)
We started to watch it, Tilly, but had to stop as we found it too brutal. Maybe we’ll pick it up again at some point,
Fastest finger first, MissT.... ;-)
I watched it quite recently. Superb film but brutally harrowing.
Question Author
Yes, Vagus, very difficult to watch. That's why we did it in two goes.

Yes, Miss T, Netflix.
Hi, Gness. Thanks for joining me. :-)

Naomi, at least there was a bit of light relief at times. (The goose!)
Never heard of it apart from the saying, I will have a look.

All quiet on AB, at least the most interesting posters are about
Arky's flirting again! ;-)
Question Author
This is the third film version of the book, Arky. I won't say you will enjoy it.
Nearly Valentine’s Day my love, showing my charm
Ahhh.....Arky wants romantic cards in red envelopes. :-)

I'll leave you to your courting. Off for a dog walk before the fog descends again.
Awe I’d definitely love a card :-)
it's a great film, a lot worse actually happened in real life, compared to what was shown, but i won't go into detail.. very sad unnecessary war.
unlike ww2
And it will continue to get quieter if tonight is anything to go by, Tilly. :-(
