"This film includes outdated attitudes, language and/or cultural depictions that viewers my find inconsistent with contemporary values. Sky has chosen to present this content as it was originally made and viewer discretion is advised" - Well done sky, so much better than hacking it to death like is often the case with films and TV today.

I do find it sad when they have to give warnings about what might pop up on TV. Mind you, it's as bit like providing disabled access to new developments - only benefits a few people, but it costs beggar-all and harms no-one else, so why not be thoughtful, kindly and considerate?
Bit like the old red triangle shown within progs that may include nudity or sexual acts.
If folk are warned before watching, they then have no right to don their Mary Whitehouse glasses and insist the programme be banned from future broadcasting.
Warned ???
They are hints that it might actually be worth your time. Certainly worth taking the chance anyway, as, what else is on ?

The warning gives us a chance to see something that's actually funny and the woke brigade shouldn't watch.
Talking Pictures, specialising in old movies, have warnings like that on almost everything they show. The warnings do vary according to the film, rather than a single all-purpose one. I think Sky also warn about language, sexual content and flashing lights.
