I have been watching the Drama channel, and enjoying Are you being served?, Some mothers do ave em, and Last of the Summer wine all on every evening. All classics that are great to see again. Are others enjoying them too?.

In varying degrees I laughed at almost all that have been mentioned, but one of the exceptions is Dinner Ladies. I never liked Victoria Wood.

Along with Only Fools and Horses, 'Allo Allo' was superb. Brilliant concept, brilliant humour, and brilliantly written.
Well he's leaving Gloria and Carol alone for a while, Hopkirk.
I enjoy The Goodlife and Dad's Army and of course Porridge
Himself enjoys Monty Python and my choices above
Neither of us enjoy Last of the Summer Wine or Some mothers not funny to us at all.
Cannot abide Only Fools and Horses or Monty Python.
More recent great comedies include Two Doors Down, Early Doors and of course Still Game. Scarborough could have become great but was dropped after one series.

The Royle Family must be amongst the greatest.
I absolutely hated The Royle Family. That awful, coarse man - is it Ricky something? - I thought quite disgusting. Similarly Mrs Brown's Boys - although that's more recent.
Mrs Brown's Boys is dreadful but The Royle Family could make me laugh and cry in the same episode.
has Curry and Chips been shown again yet ?
where might I catch up with this great series ?
Never watched the Royale Family - the adverts were enough to put me off and Mrs Browns boys - turned it off after 10 minutes.
Imho..
Mrs Browns boys was pants! But Brendan O'Carrol was brilliant at stand up.
Same goes for Peter Kay. Great stand up but 'Carshare' pants!!
Piggy I loved Carshare - found it so different.

Its a good job we are all different
Folk like what they like, I like Fiona O'Carroll. :-)
Two doors down is a little gem.
I have been watching them. But some are repeated days later which is more than a bit off. And I wish they'd scrap that daft warning to the woke/PC brigade at the start. Covers far too much of the screen.
//Cannot abide Only Fools and Horses //

At last, another one who, like me, consider this to be the most over-rated show ever, I've never understood how this drivel gets voted as the best ever.
Thinking back to Victoria Woods I am always reminded of her when I drive through Kimberley near here, I can't even say it properly.
....that's because it's Bonnet de douche zebo!
Comedy in all it's forms is highly subjective arguing the pros and cons of one sit com or another and expecting to sway opinion is futile. I love OFAH and in fact all of John Sullivan's work but I also accept that others do not. I cannot abide Father Ted for example, or Mrs Brown's boys or the Royle family but enough do to make them a successful show.
Funny is in the eye/ear of the beholder.
You're slipping TTT, why not FT, MBB and TRF ?
Slipping? How?
