Gone to a better place but not forgotten, he is lovingly honoured in many episodes of The Simpsons using the name of Troy McLure who appears in all kinds of TV and Films to illustrating Dougs propensity for work of any nature, always using the same intro " Hi my names Troy McLure you may remember me from such films as ......."
