Wow! What a final. I have skated, even played ice hockey but I could never achieve what these folk have.
I couldn't have chosen a winner from these three but maybe Nile Wilson did have the edge...just. So happy for what it's done for him. :-)

I agree that Nile was rightful winner on DOI, although was impressed with all of the routines produced for final. Shame Joey messed up so badly with Bolero routine and forgot most of it.

Karamia. Nile had the edge technically for quite a while but the other two have to be admired for how much they improved through the series.
Loved watching The Vivienne every performance.
All of it was a joy to watch with nobody just playing to the cameras as has happened before.

Well I may be a bit of a rebel, Klaz but it's usually what we call that shower over the border.

Do you count visiting the place where you left your dad's ashes as a visit to family?

My dad is in Loch Earn and my brother took his kids to visit their grandfather. I thought that it was only in our family that was so strange!

Wolf. Yes I do. Both my Parents were from Cork. I was born in England. I'm more than proud to have Irish blood. But also I am an Englishman. My heritage states that I am an Irishman by blood (Of which i'm truely proud) But England is where I live (and have an affinity to) So when I laid my fathers ashes to rest on his Mothers grave (illegally) Me and my sister (with the help of my cousin [Vatican priest/Opera singer] who travelled from Boston (USA) to help us find the grave. We had to abandon the whole thing. Because you could not believe how much ash was in the container. so half went on his Mother, The other halve went in the estuary. The story is much longer than that. but i'm trying to keep it short. It still upsets me to this day.
So yes. I visit my family in Ireland and I visit my Dad. They are all my family :-) X
