Just been watching the documentary about Archer. Couldn’t help seeing similarities between the two, particularly regarding Ladies of the Night and hush money. Both feel they are untouchable and can do no wrong. Separated at birth?

he swore an affidavit ( about Monica Coghlan) that was not true and also NOT used in court, and the Judge said that was enough
Perjury is only used ish if something has to be unwound ( like let out of prison with the words oops!) other wise, perverting the course of Justice.
Starts at two y. Big deal therefore
There has to be an independent witness to the act complained about ( not the lying in court, everyone sees that) which makes it uphill work to prove.
oh and Perjury is not a tort - you cant sue in the civil courts for damages
er that is just about it
Oh and the cop-killuz muvva did time for perjury, having given the one-eyed cop killer an alibi. The defence of 'well a muvva would' didnt run
