Just read a story about two 'stars' of Lost being done for drink driving and yet i dont know either of them (they arent in season 1).

Michelle Rodriguez was in one S1 episode (Jack meets her character at the airport). I think you should be able to get some idea from that how they feature in the show...

Here was me thinking that they meet another load of people on the island (who are also all very good looking and have interesting back stories)

Both actresses play characters who were on the flight, but in the tail end of the plane...
