I find it it amazing this chap is making so many headlines. So what if he loses his job ? I have never seen his show, I have only seen him on some ads. But honestly, who cares really ? Or about his co-host Holly Whatnot.

Big difference between being keen to know and actually caring!
lankeela - // Big difference between being keen to know and actually caring! //

I think you'll find that's a fine distinction that is absent in the audience of the tabloid media and daytime television.
Lankeela, a lot of people are interested in him. That’s why this is news and that’s why we’re talking about it.
I very much doubt "millions of people" care about this. If so they should get a life.
Not the least bit interested in any so-called celebrities and have never watched any of his programmes.
[email protected] say'there is nothing wrong with a workplace relationship'.
There was when I worked in the NHS . Relationships between work colleagues were frowned on and staff members were definitely not allowed to have relationships with patients.
This led to a lot of secrecy .
that's the baggage that goes with being in a high profile show/shows... and telling big porkies when asked direct questions..particulary by close friends, family and employer... can't stand the heat..you leave..or are transported..from the kitchen... doubt he will live an impoverished life in exile... but a come down for one who clearly likes the attention and all that is afforded by his career.. I was made aware of his predilections many years ago as I am friends with a camera man from the prog... it seems it was/is another well known..and accepted..secret in his circle !
Is there any suggestion this other person was under 18 at the time od his relationship with Philip Schofield?
minty, Schofield was born in 1962. People of that generation knew to lie about being gay. Boy George was a year older; he lied too. Whatever his predilections, he was wise to shut up about it.
Jno.. not really necessary to lie about sexual preferences for quite some time..if that was the issue alone..people really don't care especially in his working environment.. but he was ..seemingly..happily married and conventionally straight..but lied to cover up double life..not the same thing
When I was about twelve (mid sixties) there was a gay couple who used to visit the pub I stayed in run by a friend's family in Norfolk. They were two lovely chaps and everyone knew, although it was a bit of a novelty and as a twelve year old the mind was very enquiring as to 'how it worked'! They used to throw fabulous parties which we went to after the pub shut.
Todays frenzy and tomorrow’s chip paper , the DM have gone ape -chit over it , I never watched This Morning but I did and do watch D.O.I, It’s a British thing, we love to pelt coconuts at people to knock them of their perches, my feelings are toward his wife and two daughters, I’ve seen some shocking comments on FB ( Daily Mail)
I like the comment from one of my retired colleagues "I hate the term coming out. It's a modern term. In my day we were 'found out', usually due to snippets in the local press when we were caught cottaging".
minty, coming out was dangerous and still is

I've never blamed anyone for staying in the closet. Holly has no business claiming to be hurt because he didn't tell her.
His being gay is not the issue with Holly...and disclosure of homosexuality is not dangerous frowned upon or unusual in TV business by any stretch of the imagination
I agree with Jno. As I said earlier his personal life is his own.
His personal life may be his own Naomi..but jnos points were not really valid or as reported..his being gay really is not a problem or issue..his lying to cover up double standards has been for people that mattered in his life..I couldn't give a flying fig..but if you live in public eye ..nothing is private..it seems..c'est la vie!
What little I did see of him, he came across as a happy chappie and I especially liked that muppet sat beside him.
Lol Arky.would that be Gordon..or Holly ?
Either being ambiguous on purpose... :-)
Never seen together..like Clark Kent and superman ! Hmmm
