No.39 Former Augustine priory (8,5)
No.43 Irish Mansion now Hotel (5,5)
No.44 Country manor house in Lincolnshire (6,5) possible Laceby Manor but not convinced?
No.46 By the river in Fen Town (8,5,3,6)
No.48 Situated near Bath (8,5,5)
No.50 Ruined tower on Scottish land (7,6) possible Stalker Castle but again not sure.

44, I have Alford Manor (house) which seems to fit the bill too. I either haven't got the answers or have the ones suggested for the others.

I don’t think it can be stalker castle because it is castle stalker so doesn’t fit the letter count

38. ? Could it be Dover Castle ..with Dover being the connecting port to France? Maybe not classed as a stately home?
