I am recording this new series, much delayed by Covid. I very much enjoyed the first series and will watch over a few days when the series ends.
The reviews are somewhat disappointing.
If you watched it, did you enjoy it? Without giving away the plot, was the filmography and script up go par?

It’s still a good watch and how it ties the different aspects of WWII together is very clever, if a little fanciful.

Thanks, Zacs :)
I've watched a couple of episodes on the iPlayer Barry and am enjoying it. I watched the last series but it's so long ago I can't remember who some of the characters are!!
That is the trouble. Too long an interval between the series. I can recall the characters from the first series but will have to watch it again to regain the story line. I do remember that I enjoyed it at the time.
First episode was fine and watchable...but I do find that it flits about between the several locations too much and too frequently.

Thanks all.
I read that they had to rewrite a lot of it due to the long gap.
Just starting watching Series 1. Looking good so I shall continue.
