I was just thanking my lucky stars that I don't watch Eastenders as I remember David Essex 'acting' in 'The River' - he was atrocious! He was good in 'That'll Be The Day' though. , when I saw that I don't have to avoid it to avoid his acting!

David Essex didn't need to act in the River - he just had to be gorgeous as usual - you could always turn the sound down and ogle him.
