I can't see an Answer Box for the Barbie post. Maybe it's my phone at fault

Just posted same, Ellie. Others OK.
What to call a line of people waiting to buy the new Barbie doll at a toy store?

Barbecue.

I'll get me coat, a plastic mac of course....
I think a mod on a phone has closed the thread unintentionally.

Wouldn't go to see it, have seen a few clips and that was more than enough!
IAs the last poster was a mod (andyhughes) I guess he accidentally closed the thread...its been reported as easy to do without realising
He does like having the last word mind Bobbin. :))
What I wanna know is will Ken be going to see it.
Yes, I may have closed it accidentally, certainly not on purpose, and yes I did answer on my phone!!

I have reopened it, apologies.
I am looking foreword to watching Oppenheimer mind Ellie. Not at the cinema though. According to reports the man who made it all possible is ignored in the film. James Chadwick, a modest man, "discovered" the existence of the neutron and without his paper America would not have undertaken the Manhattan project and certainly not have invested the resources to develop the atom bomb. He was in America, on site and involved, but has been airbrushed out of the story as usual by the yanks. Ahh well the truth is the truth even when the lie wins the argument.
Togo.
That is most deffo on my no 1 list to watch. I recall another film on the subject where some one on the Manhattan team suffered horrific radiation burns and died. I would be intrigued to see if Oppenheimer is close to the original version I enjoyed
We went to see Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning. Yes I know not on a par with Oppenheimer - which I also want to see. Pure escapism thoroughly enjoyed it.
Barbie was also on - the audience waiting to see it was so varied. Young girls, young boys middle-aged women (without children) dressed up to the nines in shiny pink & sequins with pink hair - I felt grossly under dressed :-))There were even a couple of men on their own
