Bbc Quiz ; Week 33

Good evening, all.

I hope that you’ve all had a good week and that you won’t get swept away by Storm Betty this weekend. (Am I the only one here who can never hear the name ‘Betty’ without thinking of Frank Spencer declaring “Ooh, Betty!”?)

I achieved my usual ‘middling’ score, of FOUR out of seven, in the main quiz this week:

However I scored a very rare (for me) maximum FIVE out of five in the junior quiz:

I could only manage a ‘passable’ FOUR out of ten in the speed event though:

So, if my addition is correct (which can never be guaranteed), that’s an aggregate score of 13 for me this week. You can do better than that though, can’t you?

Heading to Lincoln tomorrow with family for the vintage rally and looks like it will be a scorcher. Will be packing a picnic with plenty of flasks of tea to keep us going.

Full marks this week, I see! (For consistency, that is!)

Everyone seems to be going to Lincoln all of a sudden! (My grandson will be studying Maths and Physics at Lincoln Uni when the new term starts). The rally looks like fun!

My use of the term 'grandson', Wolfie, was a shortcut to writing "the son of the guy who I think of as my son", which would then have probably required further information anyway! Logan (who's off to Lincoln soon) isn't my biological grandson but I think of him as such.
