I'm prepared to listen to good music from all over the world. (Indeed, I probably listen to far more music in foreign languages than I do in English). However I tend to find that listening to K-pop is like listening to an unending diet of Eurovision Song Contest entries. (Don't get me wrong here; I adore the Eurovision Song Contest but I'm not up to listening to the same type of music all day long though).
Things aren't helped either by the fact that only a very small number of K-pop groups get their music played here. So many people tend to think solely of groups like BTS when considering K-pop, rather than some of the many other groups (which, if they were able to be heard, might introduce a bit more variety into the mix).
