I always know why I don't like them, normally because they have a kind of smugness,  or they come across as patronising, or in the case of some comedians they are either one trick ponies or just not funny.  The one exception might be Dame Joan Bakewell, never minded her years ago but now something about her makes me switch off/ or to another channel
