New quiz available from Sibsey Bowls Club, closing date 30th March 2024. 60 questions - 30 answers contain the consecutive letters BO, ST or ON and 30 answers are places in the UK ending in 'by'.
Pay £1.40 by PayPal to [email protected] ensuring you select 'Family and Friends' so we don't incur charges. Please then email me and I will send the quiz by return. I can also email the quiz and you can pay on return. Alternatively post a minimum of £1 (cheque payable to Sibsey Bowls Club) with a SAE please to Wendy King, Brun-Roi, Leagate Road, Antons Gowt, Boston, Lincs. PE22 7BN. The closing date for entries is 30th March 2024. There is a £10 first prize plus a £5 prize (selected at random from all entries).
WINTER quiz in aid of the Romanian Aid Foundation. (www.roaf.org) Closing date – 9th March, 2024. Mixture of 60 questions – Some questions with WI NT or ER in the answer, some questions on song titles and some questions on anniversaries in 2023. The quiz costs £1 (cheques payable to C.Giffard). 1st prize £10, runner up £5 and prize of £5 drawn from all entries regardless of score. Quizzes available from Mrs C. Thank you to those who took part in the AUTUMN quiz. £90 was raised for ROAF. Thank you for the extra donations and nice comments. The winners were: 1st prize Sue Hennessey of Kent, Runner up prize –David Weston from Colchester and prize from all entries –Gloria Swan from Great Yarmouth. If anyone has not received a quiz, please let me know as I had one damaged envelope with no contents and two quizzes with no names.

ShelterBox Quiz "Here am I, sitting in a tin can" [SB 16] is out now. If it can go in a tin/can then it could be the answer you're looking for. I have also noted items particularly noted for their shape.
It's all online, from payment (PayPal) to entry (email back the completed answer sheet). All participants will be emailed answer sheet (at the end!).
