Mystery film (poss Canadian)

Does anyone remember a film, shown I think on Channel 4 about 6-7 years ago, from this (prob not v good) description? It was a documentary made by this guy who basically chronicled his dates with a series of women - I seem to recall there was some sort of premise like he'd set himself a target to date 50 or something. Eventually he met someone he really liked and she sort of liked him, but she was quite uncomfortable being filmed. For some reason I've got it into my head that the film was Canadian, but I may be utterly wrong. Ring any bells? Any help much appreciated.
