I'm trying to find out the name of an American film from late 70s / early 80s.

Man has a picture of family/friends that start to get killed accidentally one by one until only he and his wife are left. He tries to save her and drives to her house. On the way he passes a car accident where unknowingly his wife has just died. He continues to the house with the picture and sets fire to it in the basement. The fire gets out of control and he is killed. End of film.
