Hell again

Thanks to this forum I succesfully matched my wireless headphones to my new LG smart tv and it works perfectly but.....having tried many differnet types of wireless headphones I find that my ears hurt a lot after an hour or so use.

Am I correct in thinking that the little 'ear buds' my grandchildren use with their phones are the same system and if I purchase a cheap pair they will work the same as headphones and if so how do I set them up - are there controls on the ear buds?

Thank you everyone

Moggie

Assuming you want to connect by bluetooth there is a huge choice of earbuds and can be very expensive. These have a 10 hour battery life and 10 minutes in their case will give you another hour.  You adjust the volume by pressing the button on the left earbud.  To pair them to the tv you need to press the buttons on both earbuds for 10 seconds whilst your tv is in...

Are you current headphones connected via bluetooth?

Assuming you want to connect by bluetooth there is a huge choice of earbuds and can be very expensive.

These have a 10 hour battery life and 10 minutes in their case will give you another hour.  You adjust the volume by pressing the button on the left earbud.

To pair them to the tv you need to press the buttons on both earbuds for 10 seconds whilst your tv is in pairing mode.

Have you considered the dedicated tv 'ears'?  These are probably available cheaper elsewhere Geemarc CL7370 Amplified Wireless TV Headphones - AmplifiedTelephones.co.uk

I don't know if all earbuds have the same volume controls, be careful to check

OK Barry

I'd add that many earbuds don't have physical buttons that you press (although my Sonys do)..many of them just have a sensitive area that you touch (which I don't like as it can be hit-and-miss!).

Thanks for that - I got a cheap pair (as I do not use them much with tv) and they did not work as there was no actual button just an 'area'!!

Managed to get a Sony pair cheap and they work well

Moggie

Thanks for the feedback.  I prefer buttons too
