What has always struck me as odd is that all the 'Islamists', and yes I have known a fair few over the years including Imams, are far from left wing. They are people that want to do well in life, own successful businesses and send their kids to private school or at least have a good education.
I would not be at all surprised if we soon see an Islamic Party (or similar) being formed where these people will gravitate and many of their views welcomed.
Genuine question.
Why is it the left generally hate Jews so much?
I know they'll dress it up as not being anti-Jew but rather being anti-Israel and/or supporting Palestine, but this is mealy mouthed and not true as there is a real and clear anti-Jew large section on the left.
I'm not being wiful, I honestly don't get it.

'Why is it the left generally hate Jews so much?'
Very very good question and I don't get it either. There are many major terrible problems/conflicts in the world which don't seem to bother our western lefties, just seems like the Jews and Israel they get very agrressive about. I think the western left are very gullible very easily led individuals who are on 'auto-default, I must hate Jews'. They don't really understand the complex situation but need to grandstand.
Perhaps the western left could help and explain why they hate the Jews so much? (probably just some sort of racism).
because of the centuries-old tradition that Jewish folk make money out of usury....not necessarily true as I could give you one heart-warming story of my grandfather extending a loan to a young Jewish man, an evacuee in WW2, a £20 note, to allow him to set up his business down here.
The recipient, an eventual Hatton Garden jeweller of some note, never forgot, and my grandfather was able to buy some very good stones/'rocks' for my grandmother at near-cost off the wholesale market in Antwerp etc.

One of the things I don't get...
Hamas hate, to the point of death, gay people, and Palestinians are entrenched with Hamas, and yet the left are supportive of them. In the recent Hamas/Palestinain protests there was a group who called themselves "Queers for Palestine". If they had the courage of their convictions there's a strong chance they'd be killed in Palestine because of a natural state of being gay.
If in left land they can't see the irony, I'd like to see "Queers for Palestine" take their chances over there rather than protest from a safe tolerant country like ours and see how'd they get on.
