Good Monday Morning Early Birds!

My first attempt at a Monday morn post so let's give this a go!

Bit early for the sunshine yet but it's meant to be a hot one today here - bout 28 degrees! Which means that after almost 7 months of rain non stop we will all be moaning that it's too hot in a couple of hours! Followed by nxt week the announcement of a water shortage! Ive a pretty busy day lined up -  mostly with work at home, then 2pm I have to head over to my in-laws to help them on the final clear/tidy up of their house before moving out tomorrow. After 33 years they made the mad/brave/ insane decision to sell their house and buy somewhere new over an hour & a half further away. I still think they are going to regret it, and am going to miss them terribly seeing as they only live about 15/16 mins away at the mo and we see each other many times a week. But time will tell.....

Good Morning Smow 😊 and followers ...  a bit jaded this morning at the Scotland result last night but hey it's  just a game, a funny old game at that ⚽  I am sure you will miss popping round to regularly see your in-laws but it will be pastures new for you when you do  make the longer trip. As you say, hope it doesn't get too hot .. moan, moan!  Take care. x

Morning impatiens - oh do you?? Where abouts are you? Think everywhere is meant to be pretty good today tho - am so used to getting up and seeing rain tipping down that this rare sight of a dry sky and a thing called sunshine is just lovely!

Varga is likely to undergo surgery after fracturing several bones in his face. The 29-year-old also has concussion and will take no part in the rest of Euro 2024 should Hungary advance to the round of 16 as one of the four best third-place teams.

The Group A game against Scotland was halted for nearly 10 minutes so Varga could get treatment after colliding with opposing goalkeeper Angus Gunn midway through the second half.

Ouch - that footie player sounds like he took quite a bash. I didn't think it was that bad last night. looks like just rest for him then...

impatiens - yep you don't sound too far away at all, I'm outskirts of Croydon, well about 4 miles from Central Croydon to be exact. But surrounded by parks and greenery!
