I share the grief of the Scottish fans. A must win game... surely the tactic is clear, full on from the start but no we'll defend for most of it! Will they ever get out of the group?

Just one shot on target for the Scots, and that from a defender in the dying stages of the match. 60% possession but much of that was spent passing the ball around in their own half of the pitch. Just not good enough. Simple as that.
Manager Steve Clarke has questioned why an Argentinian referee'd a European match, but he must have been happy prior to kick off as far as i know, he didn't question this prior to kick-off. He'd be better off looking at the tactics he had his team playing to. Don't think he'll be in the job much longer.
And i agree with those who believe England have been dire. Two of the worst games i have watched have involved England, two of the best i have watched have involved little Georgia. At least they've given it a go and some of their football has been delightful to watch.
And yet, we're still 3rd favs @ around the 9/2 mark. Crazy.
