Would You Tell Your Boss If Her Top Is On Inside Out?

Our boss came into the office and I noticed her top was on inside out.  You could see the neck label and the waist area label clearly on display.  Should I have told her?  I didn't have the heart.

I would have told her.  If my top was on inside out I'd want to ge told.

Yes, I would.

When I started my first real job in 1963 I was taken to meet the head of section in a scientific establishment, a fairly senior scientist. As we were chatting he took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth, filter outwards. He lit his lighter and I had to stop him before he lit the filter.

Hmmm......maybe I should've.  She's gone back to her office now - a way down the passage.  She works with three other women so hopefully they'll tell her.  I didn't want to be forward and tell her.  If it happens again I'll tell her and pluck up the courage.

If it was the former, then I'd try and be subtle about it by saying that I liked her top and then casually pointing out that the label was on the outide .....

i was always taught that if it's something the person can do something about (lettuce in the teeth; skirt tucked in knickers; top on onside out) you should tell them.  If they cant do anythingabout it  (ladder in tights; odd shoes on) then dont bother

but  TBH i wouldnt need to get "courage" to do it, nor think another moment about it after theyd gone from my sight either :)
